Degree Project, 2012
Degree project of my 5th year at Woodbury’s Architecture program. The proposal highlights two issues in the Echo Park neighborhood, the restoration of Echo Lake and the Highway 2 Terminus project further North. While separate in scope, one has a direct impact on the other. Efforts to maintain Glendale Blvd as a highway in disguise will continue to generate the level of pollutants that will end up in the lake during a storm. It is unknown whether the lakes recently installed wetlands can mitigate these issues.
